Our journey this time started with one person in Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, after picking up one person from Omiya Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. The Toyota Gran Ace, the flagship of JumboTaxi.com, is a spacious five-seater with electric ottoman seats that are reminiscent of first class comfort, and to enjoy this luxury with two people is a truly special experience. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we headed for the Momosato Country Club for golf in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture, in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Ideal golf day: pleasant daytime temperature of 14°C
The temperature was ideal for golf on this day. Warm enough to play golf in long sleeves. Clear skies with not a cloud in sight and a pleasant breeze made play all the more enjoyable. These ideal conditions doubled the enjoyment of golf and our guests took to the course in search of the best shots in the pleasant weather.
Taoli Country Club: lush green course and warm hospitality.
Momosato Country Club is a golfer's dream, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Tochigi City. The vast green course is soothing and relaxing, along with the endless views. The staff here are very friendly and greeted us with warm hospitality. Their cheerful and smiling greeting at the entrance was very impressive. The waiting room for the hired drivers was also very clearly located and the canteen for the drivers was very clearly signposted.
Driver's lunch treat: a substantial fried oyster set meal.
One of the most enjoyable things for hire car drivers during golf transfers is a meal at the restaurant attached to the golf course. This time we ordered the fried oyster set meal at the restaurant, courtesy of a customer. The crispy batter and juicy, large fried oysters with tartar sauce, which was probably made originally by the restaurant, were exquisite, and along with the substantial portions, each and every flavour was thoroughly enjoyed. This meal not only restores your energy, but also fills you with motivation. After taking a post-meal break, we are also fired up for a light car wash to prepare for the pick-up of our guests.
Concluding the journey: the return journey home
After a day of great play, the customer returns to Kumagaya City in JumboTaxi.com's Toyota Gran Ace. On the return journey, guests seemed to be reflecting on the wonderful memories of the day as they slumped into the comfortable seats. The golf play, the beautiful scenery, the delicious food and, above all, the comfort of the vehicle that made this special journey possible.
