Tokyo Stock Exchange - the heart of the economy
We welcomed two guests from China to visit a number of important sites in Tokyo. Our first stop was the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This is the hub of the Japanese economy and plays an important role globally. They enjoyed the history of the exchange and its role in the modern economy as they were shown around the interior of the exchange. This place is not just a financial centre, but a symbol of Japan's economic growth.
Notary Public - Guardian of the Law
The next stop was the notary office. This is where important processes take place, such as the creation and authentication of legal documents. Customers delved deeper into the Japanese legal system and the essential role played by notary offices.
Ueno Ameyoko - a fusion of tradition and modernity
They enjoyed Thai food in Ameyoko for lunch. After filling up, they strolled through Ameyoko in Ueno. This is a bustling market where Tokyo's traditions and modern culture merge. It is lined with a variety of shops, where you can find everything from food to clothing. We introduced our guests to the history of the market and its unique atmosphere. I, personally, was surprised by the increase in the number of Chinese shops.
Houses of Parliament - the political arena
In the afternoon, visit the Parliament Building, the centre of Japanese politics. The building is a symbolic landmark in Japanese politics. We took them on a guided tour of the inside of the Parliament building, explaining its magnificent architecture and political significance. The guests showed great interest in Japan's political structure and its history.
Tobu Department Store - a shopping paradise
In the evening, they went to the vibrant Tobu Department Store in Ikebukuro. Here, visitors seem to have enjoyed the full range of shopping and entertainment attractions. The Tobu Department Store offers a wide range of brands and products, giving visitors a wide choice. We also touched on the history of this department stores' and its role in contemporary consumer culture. I was given a lunch box gift by a customer.
