This time, I was in charge of a 16-hour round-trip + driver accommodation plan from Omiya, Saitama City to Universal Studios Japan (USJ)! I drove safely to Osaka in a jumbo taxi to ensure that everyone travelling in the group had a comfortable journey.

So we left Omiya Ward, Saitama City, early in the morning and arrived at a hotel in Ebisu Higashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, in the evening. The customer planned to enjoy a relaxing overnight stay, so I, as the driver, checked into a hotel near Shin-Imamiya Station. I had free time until the next morning, so I visited the nearby 'Shinsekai' area.
Shinsekai is an area with a retro atmosphere and a typical Osaka vibrancy. At night, the local izakayas (pubs) are bustling with activity, and I enjoyed drinking alone while enjoying Osaka specialities such as kushikatsu (deep-fried pork cutlets on a skewer). I thought I would be rubbing shoulders with the locals, but in fact most of the visitors were tourists or people from other prefectures, and the atmosphere was very cosmopolitan! Despite this, I was able to feel the warmth and vibrancy of Osaka and had a great time.
Free time again
We checked out of the hotel and drove our guests to Universal Studios Japan at 9:00am. From there we had free time until around 22:00, but as the return journey was due to start at midnight, we couldn't just relax and do some personal sightseeing. First, we washed the Toyota Hiace that would accompany us on this trip, then had a light meal and went to a nearby internet café. Around noon, I decided to take a short nap to get fit.
Goodbye Osaka,,
When the time to pick up our guests finally approached and we arrived at the Universal Studios Japan area, the number of taxis was incredible! There were so many taxis gathered around that it was overwhelming. Finally, I took a photo of the familiar globe as a little souvenir for myself.
