Together with the Omiya Minami-Ginza District Shopping Street Promotion Association, the Omiya Minami-Ginza clean-up, which took place for the first time this year on 23 January 2024, is an important event for the local community. Participants wear Saitama City orange waistcoats and clean up the area twice a month. This activity not only beautifies the local area, but also provides a good opportunity for new taxi drivers to learn about the geography of the area around Omiya's Minami-Ginza.
