The beauty of the city protected by peace tourism: regular cleaning activities to support the beautification of the Omiya and Minami-Ginza areas.

In this issue, we introduce our regular Minami-Gin (Omiya Minami-Ginza) clean-up activities.
Minamigin is a busy area in Saitama City's Omiya Ward, where there are many pedestrian streets, restaurants and entertainment facilities. On the other hand, there are also issues that spoil the landscape, such as litter and graffiti at night.
Therefore, as a "community-based company", we at Peace Tourism organise clean-up activities twice a month with the aim of beautifying the environment in South Bank.

Clean-up activities

Activities start at 16:00 in the evening. Employees gather wearing orange bibs. With tongs and rubbish bags in their hands, they carefully pick up cigarette butts, empty cans and fallen leaflets one by one.

Connections with the local community

During clean-up activities, neighbouring shops often say "thank you" or "it's a big help", which is a rewarding moment for employees.

In recent years, there have also been more and more opportunities to work together with other local businesses and volunteers, expanding cooperation to make South Bank a "safer place to walk".

Future initiatives

In the future, we hope to create opportunities for community interaction through clean-up activities.

'A clean city is one we can all protect.'

Peace Tourism will continue to work with and be loved by the local community.
