We received orders for a Koedo Kawagoe tour using a jumbo taxi and wagon taxi. The day was spent fully enjoying the attractions of Kawagoe, including Kita-in Temple and the warehouses of the town.

First, visit Kita-in Temple, an ancient temple of the Tendai sect. There are many sights to see, including the National Treasure Taho-to (pagoda), the Niomon Gate (an important cultural property) and the main hall. Guests commented that the temple was larger than they had imagined and that they could sense its history. While strolling around the temple grounds, visitors were able to enjoy a relaxing time in the tranquil surroundings.

Continue on to a row of warehouses that still retain the atmosphere of the Edo period. The rows of stately storehouse merchant houses make you feel as if you have stepped back in time. Visitors enjoyed strolling through old-fashioned confectionary shops and general shops, looking for souvenirs.
