So we left Omiya-ku, Saitama City early in the morning and arrived at a hotel in Ebisuhigashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City in the evening. Since the client planned to enjoy a relaxing overnight stay, I, as the driver, checked into a hotel near Shin-Imamiya Station. I had free time until the next morning, so I visited the nearby "Shinsekai" area.
Shinsekai is an area with a retro atmosphere and full of the vitality typical of Osaka. At night, the local izakayas (Japanese-style pubs) were bustling with activity, and I enjoyed drinking alone while enjoying Osaka specialties such as kushikatsu (skewered pork cutlets). I thought I would be rubbing elbows with locals, but in fact most of them were tourists or people from other prefectures, and the atmosphere was very international! Despite this, I was able to feel the warmth and vibrancy of Osaka and had a great time.
Free time again
I checked out of the hotel and drove our guests to Universal Studios Japan at 9:00 AM. From there, we had free time until around 10:00 p.m., but since the return trip was scheduled for midnight, I could not just relax and do some personal sightseeing. First, I washed the Toyota Hiace that would accompany me on this trip, then had a light meal and went to an Internet cafe nearby. Around noon, I decided to take a short nap to get in shape.

When the time to pick up our guests finally approached and I arrived at the Universal Studios Japan area, the number of taxis was incredible! There were so many taxis gathered around that it was overwhelming. Finally, I took a picture of the familiar globe as a little souvenir for myself.
