The precious gift of time
In this issue, one of our customers, a JumboTaxy.com user, has provided us with his own personal experience. We have carefully edited the story for you and would like to share with you some of the valuable experiences our customers have shared with us. We were in charge of the round trip operation to and from Grand Ace.
Early morning departure, an exciting journey
On a quiet morning in Omiya, a JumboTaxy.com chauffeured car was waiting for me. First of all, when I saw the car, I thought, "What a big car! And it only holds two people, yet it is so luxurious and spacious! ". We exchanged greetings with the driver and set off. Driving on the Metropolitan Expressway Route 5 in the direction of Tokyo, the view from the car window gradually changed to the hustle and bustle of the city. My heart was filled with anticipation for the adventure that awaited us at Makuhari Messe. The road to Comic-Con was not just a ride, but a gateway to a dream. The reason I asked for a chauffeured car this time was that it was quite a distance from Omiya to Makuhari Messe, and I had made up my mind that I was going to buy a lot of souvenirs. I didn't want to go back on a crowded train with a lot of souvenirs on my tired body.
Makuhari Messe, the Beginning
The moment I arrived at Makuhari Messe, the excitement of Comic-Con enveloped me. Long lines, laughter heard somewhere in the distance, and fans talking about their favorite topics of conversation. The two-hour long wait at the MARVEL booth was a chance to mingle with others who shared the same passion.
Encounter with movie stars on stage
The opening ceremony was a dream come true. Evangeline Lilly, Christopher Lloyd, Daniel Logan, Temuera Morrison, Pom Klementieff, Mads Mikkelsen, Ewan McGregor, Tom Hiddleston, Natalia Tena, and Benedict Cumberbatch, among other shining stars, were all there. Their presence was simply overwhelming. Their every move moved me greatly. Starting with the opening ceremony, Comic-Con is finally getting into full swing.
Special interaction with fans
One of the best parts of Comic-Con is the closeness between fans and stars. The talk stage by Mads Mikkelsen, his kind gesture to his fans, those were unforgettable moments. I felt the time constraint at the photo session, and I saw murmurs on X (formerly Twitter) that posing was prohibited, and that the photo session was like a lunch box production on a conveyor belt, with not even a word of thanks to the actors for taking pictures. The sincere attitude of the stars was deeply engraved in the hearts of us fans. When it was my turn, I was pushed from behind by the staff and ended up not being able to do the pose I wanted to do.
Shining Moments Recalled on the Way Home
At the end of the event, Mads Mikkelsen's words, "I'll definitely come back again," echoed in our hearts as an eternal promise. The next Comic Con is scheduled to be held in Osaka and then again in Tokyo. Then, I got a photo ticket for Benedict, who was added at the end, and headed to the photo shoot. Unlike last time, it seems to have improved a lot and you can now specify poses, which makes me happy, but when I think about the Mads Mikkelsen photo I took yesterday, I can't help but feel confused.
Still, I had enough time to say "Thank you" for the photo shoot, and I designated Dr. Strange's finger to be taken. At the end, he looked into my eyes, which were too beautiful, and said "Thank you," and I cried with emotion. On top of that, Daniel Logan wandered out and came right in front of me, made eye contact with me, and said "Happy merry Christmas! I was almost crying half the time as he said it to me one-on-one.
Hmm? I hope that Osaka will take advantage of these improvements to prevent any disparities from arising. It was a great memory of Tokyo Comic-Con, which was made possible by the sweat and water of all the guests, staff, and people involved.
On the way home in a JumboTaxy.com chauffeured car, the night view outside the window was like the magic of the day. My heart was filled with wonderful experiences and encounters at Comic-Con, and the memories will never fade in my mind.
I would like to say, but by the time I came to, we were at Omiya and the driver woke me up. LOL!
I am so glad I ordered a chauffeured car, I had a comfortable sleep and was able to return home safely and without worrying about the amount of luggage I had to carry. Thanks to JumboTaxy.com.
